Several groups of workers are on strike this week…they need your support!

Amnesty UK/Amnesty Secretariat
 
On Tuesday, 20 November, Unite members at Amnesty UK (AIUK) and the Amnesty Secretariat (AI Secretariat) are taking coordinated strike action against redundancies. For AIUK this is their third strike and for AI secretariat their second.

Mid Yorkshire Health Unison:
 
Mid Yorks Health Unison will strike from Tuesday 20 November, through to Thursday 22 November. This follows a lively strike on 1 November. 

The attack at the Mid Yorkshire NHS Trust comes just as a major assault on the NHS workers’ Agenda for Change pay and terms and conditions framework, which will affect all health workers, has begun. The strikers are showing the way to fight.

Queen Mary UCU to strike Thursday 22 November:
 
Following a successful ballot for industrial action over redundancies and performance management, Queen Mary UCU branch will be taking strike action Thursday, 22 November. Picket lines will be up from 7.30am.

NUT and NASUWT Teachers at Stratford school strike 20/22 November
 
Stratford Academy School are striking against their Headteacher imposing 15% pay cuts as a result of the NUT and the NASUWT taking action short of a strike. They have had several strike days already. Connaught School
 
Teachers in the NUT in Connaught Girls School , Waltham Forest are striking against the school being turned into an academy. They have had several strike days already and are recommencing action on 26 November. Send messages of solidarity to Rep Paul Phillips: pablophillips2007@yahoo.co.uk
