‘Up to 100 stewards will be required for the demonstration in opposition to massive job cuts and the sell-off of properties at the Whittington Hospital on Saturday 16 March, so the Trades Council is appealing to its affiliates for stewards, who would need to be available for an initial briefing at Highbury Fields, N5 (by Highbury & Islington tube) at 11.00 AM, Stewards would need to be present up until at least 1.30 and preferably up until 3.00 PM when the rally outside the hospital in Archway, N19 will have finished and marchers should have dispersed.’
