After the horrific shootings in France there has been an outburst of racism and Islamophobia which far right groups have tried to take advantage of and that means that Le Pen’s visit and the demonstration against the EDL in Dudley are of importance to antiracists and antifascists. UAF and Stand up to racism have called an important public meeting on 29th January. See our statement calling for unity against racism, fascism, anti-semitism and for a defence of civil liberties. The next week ahead sees a number of anti-racist and anti-fascist initiatives, with Reverend Al Sharpton flying to Britain, the Black Lives Matters tour with a speaker from Ferguson and Holocaust Memorial Day.

Join the events next week and register for the UAF conference 21 Feb and help us build the biggest anti-racist/anti-fascist demo of the year on UN Anti-racism day 21 March!
