Don’t let the government get away with their downgrading of health
and safety law.
l Say no to more deaths and serious injuries and industrial disease.
l Don’t let them get away with their plans to make it even harder to
get compensation.
l Demand laws are brought in to put an end to scandal of blacklisting.
l In the London area the latest HSE figures show that in 2012
19 people died from unsafe workplace activities, of which 8 were
construction workers, 4 from other industries and 7 deaths of
members of the public, in addition thousands were seriously
injured or diseased.
As part of our plans to commemorate Workers Memorial Day 2013 the
Construction Safety Campaign will publicize the courageous battle that
is now taking place by workers for justice against the blacklist.
This year’s event at the Building Worker statute in Tower Hill is being
jointly organized by UCATT London Region and the Construction Safety
Campaign with support from the London Hazards Centre.
